About This Assessment

This assessment is designed to help you identify where you currently are in your leadership transition journey — and what that position is asking of you.

This assessment shows where you are now, not what you are capable of. It maps the stage you are in and where the transition is pressing hardest. Your current and future capacity is what you build next, through reflection, coaching, and deliberate practice.

It contains 18 statements grouped into three sections. Your responses across the three sections will identify your primary transition stage and the layer of your experience that is most activated right now.

Instructions: Rate each statement from 1 (Not at all true) to 5 (Very much true) based on your experience over the last 60–90 days. Answer based on your genuine experience — there are no right or wrong answers.
